We are proud to announce our partnership with the Christopher Katongo Foundation. We are grateful to work along side a local organization to continue to fulfill the mission and objective of VillageSteps.
We are working together to build another school and soccer complex alongside the Christopher Katongo Foundation. See some initial renderings below. You can read more about it here as well.

ORGANIZATIONAL PROFILE OF THE CHRISTOPHER KATONGO FOUNDATION
Founded on the principles of morality, excellence and a caring heart, Christopher Katongo foundation is a non profitable organization which aims to bring together those with a heart to bring out the best out of those that are less privileged.
This is the initiative by our national hero, the captain of the 2012 Zambia Africa cup of nations winning team.
THE IDEA BEHIND THE INITIATIVE
Christopher Katongo believes that as an accomplished and a national hero, he has a duty to find ways of helping the less privileged and identifying the hidden talents. These can in turn contribute greatly to national development. For example, there are youths in rural areas who are talented in soccer but have no channel to showcase their talent.
- Christopher Katongo’s foundation wants to solve that problem.
We believe that as much as we expect the government to solve all this, we as citizens have a duty towards each other. We can help each other as we as citizens, help each other to make a better Zambia comprised of enlightened, healthy, educated and productive society.
